Quick & Easy Holiday Gift Ideas!

Normally I like to go all out when I do DIY gifts, especially for the holidays. It may be time consuming, but it’s fun and I love it. But this year was crazy with finals and didn’t leave me with enough time to do more elaborate gifts. However, the gift ideas I decided to do this year were still fun, creative and thoughtful in my opinion. And it’s great for last minute gifts as well, being that Christmas is extremely soon ahah.

So down below are a few of the ideas I decided to do; baked goods, Lip balms and a positivity jar. There is one other gift I did which is a bracelet but there is a whole story behind this gift idea which will be left for a future blog post (so stay tuned for that :)).

Lindt Milk Chocolate/ White Chocolate Cookies:

This recipe is super easy, and let me tell you they are delicious and addictive I did do a post about these a while ago, but here is the link for the recipe! Cookie Recipe

Chocolate Covered Peanuts & Hazelnuts:

This was a super easy recipe to do and it makes for a great little gift, just to show you were thinking of someone. And you can always use whichever kind of nuts you prefer and any kind of chocolate as well.Recipe found here!

DIY Peppermint Lip balm:

With the winter and the cold weather who doesn’t need a good lip balm to keep their lips nice and moist! This was a super easy DIY lip balm which only requires 3 ingredients, that’s right THREE INGREDIENTS ONLY!!! The little containers were bought at Michaels craft store (i’m sure you can order them online), beeswax also found at Michaels, coconut oil bought at a local organic grocery store, but you can definitely get them at most grocery stores near you, and lastly the peppermint essential oil (you can of course use which ever essential oil you prefer)!Recipe found here!

Positivity Jar:

So this idea came from a youtuber that I watch (Carli Bybel), its super easy and a great gift idea, especially for those who love quotes! All you need is paper (colour of your choice), any kind of jar you think looks best (these ones are from the Dollar store!), scissors, and a pen! Voila your own positivity jar!
