BeYou Bracelets!

This project is something I have been working on for a year now. Of course I though it would have kicked off already, but then I had to keep reminding myself that things happen and life is not always smooth sailing.

The key to making your dreams become a reality, is too constantly work at it every single day and have patience. If you’re truly passionate about something, don’t rush it, take your time to make the best product ever. And never let anyone tell you you can’t do it or that won’t make you any money. They’re just upset that they could not fulfill their own dreams. So keep working hard at the things you love and are passionate about.

I chose today to share with you guys the progress I have made and just to share how proud I am of myself for not giving up and constantly working at my craft.

The concept behind my brand is to really promote to the world especially those with insecurities, we need to really embrace who we are and love ourself. We need to encourage and empower those around us to do the same and not tear each other down.

If you would like you can always pass by my Instagram to see more. Instagram account.

iPod Birthday Card!

For this weeks post, it will be very short and too the point. We all have that music lover who’s either part of the family or in our group of friends!

I am all about paying very close attention to what my loved ones are passionate about or love at the moment. This then allows me to personalize all my gifts, and there is no better feeling than seeing that smile on their face once you give them their gift :)!

For this card it is very simple, what you will need:

Card board paper

Markers/ Gel Pens

Remember this is art so it’s all about being creative and putting your own little twist on it :)!

Have fun and go be creative!

Cute Valentines Day Card!

With Valentine’s Day just a couple of days away, I want to share with you all a cute idea I came across on Pinterest. And the cool thing is, you can play around with it and make it your own. So I decided to change up the writing on the front and added a little pocket on the back where I put in a cute little love note for that special someone;).

Hope you guys enjoy this cute little idea. It was super easy and fun to do, especially since it’s midterm time I am  pretty pressed for time so why not get creative!

Hope you all have a great Valentine’s Day 🙂

BeYou Bracelet!

Here is something personal that I would love to share with all of you! I have been working on a project for a few months now, actually it’s almost been a year and I know it’s something I am passionate about because I never gave up, even when I felt it would be too difficult. Growing up I have had plenty of insecurities and I have been judge many times throughout elementary and high school, even from some family members. And now a days with social media, and people constantly comparing themselves to one another I wanted to find a way to share with people, especially young girls and women in general because there is so much pressure to look a certain way, act a certain way or be ‘perfect’. Well perfect does not exist and everyone is different, and this is what we all need to remind ourselves of. I decided to start my own bracelet line to encourage everyone to embrace who they are and to empower those around them to do the same. We need to learn to stick together and support one another instead of constantly tearing each other down and making each other feel bad about who they are. Everyone should be able to proudly show who they truly are and love themselves for them! I will be launching a website within the next few months, so I will keep you all posted with that. My social media  for all of you to follow on Instagram is @beyoubracelets, and feel free to message me if you are interested in getting your very own BeYou Bracelet!

Quick & Easy Holiday Gift Ideas!

Normally I like to go all out when I do DIY gifts, especially for the holidays. It may be time consuming, but it’s fun and I love it. But this year was crazy with finals and didn’t leave me with enough time to do more elaborate gifts. However, the gift ideas I decided to do this year were still fun, creative and thoughtful in my opinion. And it’s great for last minute gifts as well, being that Christmas is extremely soon ahah.

So down below are a few of the ideas I decided to do; baked goods, Lip balms and a positivity jar. There is one other gift I did which is a bracelet but there is a whole story behind this gift idea which will be left for a future blog post (so stay tuned for that :)).

Lindt Milk Chocolate/ White Chocolate Cookies:

This recipe is super easy, and let me tell you they are delicious and addictive I did do a post about these a while ago, but here is the link for the recipe! Cookie Recipe

Chocolate Covered Peanuts & Hazelnuts:

This was a super easy recipe to do and it makes for a great little gift, just to show you were thinking of someone. And you can always use whichever kind of nuts you prefer and any kind of chocolate as well.Recipe found here!

DIY Peppermint Lip balm:

With the winter and the cold weather who doesn’t need a good lip balm to keep their lips nice and moist! This was a super easy DIY lip balm which only requires 3 ingredients, that’s right THREE INGREDIENTS ONLY!!! The little containers were bought at Michaels craft store (i’m sure you can order them online), beeswax also found at Michaels, coconut oil bought at a local organic grocery store, but you can definitely get them at most grocery stores near you, and lastly the peppermint essential oil (you can of course use which ever essential oil you prefer)!Recipe found here!

Positivity Jar:

So this idea came from a youtuber that I watch (Carli Bybel), its super easy and a great gift idea, especially for those who love quotes! All you need is paper (colour of your choice), any kind of jar you think looks best (these ones are from the Dollar store!), scissors, and a pen! Voila your own positivity jar!

DIY Christmas Cards!

With Christmas just a few days away I have been obsessing on Pinterest trying to find cute Christmas card ideas as well as fun and easy DIY gifts! I am still in the middle of Finals so this year has been pretty hectic, but I am managing to get everything I want done:). Plus Christmas is my absolute favourite holiday so I love being able to take a study break and work on stuff that really helps me release stress and have some fun! Pinterest has a bunch of easy and fun DIY so even though Christmas is just a few days away you still have time to make some cute Christmas cards for your loved ones!

It’s great, because you can just run over to the dollar store and pick up some little christmas card decorating accessories and its super cheap as well. All you need is; thick paper, markers, pencil crayons, glue, scissors, any fancy coloured gel pens(optional), glitter (optional) and card decorating accessories. And Voila, you come up with fun cards to share with those you love!

Hope you all enjoy, and get some creative ideas! Stick around for another Holiday post.

Happy Holidays
