“What makes you different makes you beautiful.”
Everyone wants to have something that someone else has. Whether it be a bigger butt, bigger boobs, long hair or short hair. With today’s society everyone pretty much wants to look the same and trust me I am guilty of this as well. But what truly sets us apart and makes us unique, is how different we all are. So instead of trying to fit in and be like everyone else we see why not stay our true self and embrace the difference that we were given. Being different is what sets us a part form the rest and that is what true beauty is all about.
This week go out, be different and embrace it!
For this weeks post, it will be very short and too the point. We all have that music lover who’s either part of the family or in our group of friends!
I am all about paying very close attention to what my loved ones are passionate about or love at the moment. This then allows me to personalize all my gifts, and there is no better feeling than seeing that smile on their face once you give them their gift :)!
For this card it is very simple, what you will need:
Card board paper
Markers/ Gel Pens
Remember this is art so it’s all about being creative and putting your own little twist on it :)!
Have fun and go be creative!
“Don’t chase the money…even if you want to be a banker. Chase the passion. Chase the dream.”
As long as you follow your dreams and passion, if you love what you do and people see that the money will come. Someone who is always chasing money will never be satisfied or happy, because it will never be enough for them. They will keep wanting more and more and that’s not the way to live your life. Especially because money is something that comes and goes, my grandmother always told that. Money and materialistic things can be taken from you in seconds. That is why it is very important to do the things you love because your passion and dreams are things that people cannot take away from you. As long as you believe in yourself and your goals you are unstoppable.
Chase your dreams this week!
“Be happy with what you have while working for what you want.”
It is very important to not take things for granted. I have had numerous opportunities and I am beyond grateful for each one. We must learn to slow down sometimes and be happy with all that we presently have, and continue to work hard towards what we want. As long as we can do this we will get this we want in life, it will take time but that is the beauty of it. You will learn to appreciate things more when you work hard to receive it rather than when it is given to you on a silver platter.
People may think, well this person has this and that and I don’t and they seem so happy. The grass is not always greener on the other side, everyone has a story and struggles and one persons happiness is not necessarily another persons happiness. This is why it is important to focus on yourself and making sure that you are fully content with you are, where you are and what you have.
Be grateful and happy with all that you have in this moment!
Hi everyone!! Today’s post is yet another cookie recipe :D. I’m clearly always on the search for great cookie recipes! There just quick and easy to make and they make for great snacks when you’re on the go or when you need to satisfy that little craving of yours :)! The recipe can be found here. Hope you guys enjoy making these as well, but be careful because it’s hard to just eat one ahaha!
Note: I decided to not add the chopped pecans, and I used swirled white and milk chocolate chips instead of white chocolate chips. So you can always play around and add to your own preference.
“Make your passion your paycheck.”
If you love what you are doing and you practice every day to make sure you master what you’re good, trust me and trust in yourself that the money will come. There is no point in settling and working for others, unless it is truly something you prefer to do. If you are someone who has a very hard being micromanaged and do not enjoy working for someone else’s dreams like me, then work on your passion.
Finding your passion can sometimes be a huge struggle, but never give up. I’m still young only 22 and I thought I needed to have my life figured out the second I started University. I hate my program because it was not what I wanted to do and for a good year and a half I was unhappy. I really wanted to figure out what it was I enjoyed doing and I wanted the answers right away. Well we all need to be realistic and know that the answers don’t come over night. So someone really close and dear to my heart said I should start doing all the things I enjoy to do and seeing from there which ones truly spark a light in me. I started to draw again, creating things like gifts and DIY’s, baking and I started making jewelry like I used to when I was a little girl. I realized that all the stuff I LOVED doing when I was younger are the stuff I still LOVE doing now. My main thing is to make a difference in people’s lives and help them the best that I can and I see that through my baking and my jewelry I make people feel special because I always personalize the stuff I make.
This is all to say if you truly believe in your passion and work hard at it you can make it your living. We have one life so lets make it count by being happy and doing the things we love and making that our source of income.
Have a fantastic week!
