Quote of the Week!

“You don’t inspire others by being perfect. You inspire them by how you deal with your imperfections.”

Today, everyone aspires to be like those they see all over social media or those in the lime light. We think hat everything we see is exactly what it is, when in reality the super models we see on the cover of a magazine don’t actually look like that. We need to embrace everything we were born with and own it. It is important to realize our strengths and weaknesses and accept who we truly are. Once we are capable of doing this we are unstoppable.

Be your imperfect self and embrace it, because no one is perfect!

Have an amazing week and OWN who YOU are!

xo.

This project is something I have been working on for a year now. Of course I though it would have kicked off already, but then I had to keep reminding myself that things happen and life is not always smooth sailing.

The key to making your dreams become a reality, is too constantly work at it every single day and have patience. If you’re truly passionate about something, don’t rush it, take your time to make the best product ever. And never let anyone tell you you can’t do it or that won’t make you any money. They’re just upset that they could not fulfill their own dreams. So keep working hard at the things you love and are passionate about.

I chose today to share with you guys the progress I have made and just to share how proud I am of myself for not giving up and constantly working at my craft.

The concept behind my brand is to really promote to the world especially those with insecurities, we need to really embrace who we are and love ourself. We need to encourage and empower those around us to do the same and not tear each other down.

If you would like you can always pass by my Instagram to see more. Instagram account.

Quote of the Week!

“Be bold enough to use your voice, brave enough to listen to your heart, and strong enough to live the life you’ve always imagined.”

Always listen to your heart, no matter what obstacles you or faced with or what anyone tells you. You know better than anyone what you are capable of and that is all you need. You are stronger than anything that comes in your way and if you want something that bad you will do anything and everything to make it become a reality!

Be bold this week and go after what you want!

Quote of the Week!

“Be a Warrior not a Worrier.”

I am someone who is very guilty of worrying all the time. It is definitely hard to kick this habit, especially if its something you have been doing for a very long time. We all know that worrying gets us no where. It simply stresses us out and adds pressure that is not necessary. When people say “don’t worry so much just relax and be in the moment” it really is easier said than done. But as long as we make the effort to change this, it will be come easier. The next time you catch yourself worrying, stop and ask yourself is this really necessary…most likely you’re answer will be no. So take a a few deep breaths and a minute to centre yourself and come back to the present moment. The more you exercise this, the easier it will become and the better you will feel!

Lets all be a warrior this week!

For the past year or year and a half I have been absolutely obsessed with watching certain YouTubers. I have come across some that I literally do not go a day or week without watching! One YouTuber in particular who’s name is Tanya Burr, makes baking videos and also has her own book that is now out called Tanya Bakes.

Me being the chocolate lover that I am, I absolutely had to make this delicious cake. The cake is super moist and the chunks of chocolate add such a great touch to it. So lets get right into it :)!

Note: I did not have castor sugar, and if you don’t either no need to worry. What you can do is take granulated sugar and pulse-blend it until the texture is superfine.  You can use either a magic bullet ( this is what I did ) or you can use a hand mixer. Just make sure not to over blend.

If you would like to watch her video on YouTube you can find it here.

Enjoy :D!

What you will need:

1 Loaf tin

1 cup unsalted butter

200g (7/8 cups) of castor sugar4 eggs

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

150g (1 cup) of self raising flour

60g (1/2 cup) of cocoa powder

100g of white chocolate

100g of milk chocolate

100g of caramilk chocolate

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy

3. Put in the 4 eggs and you can add vanilla if you’d like

4. Add in baking powder then gradually add in the flower

5. Add in the cocoa powder

6. Fold in the chocolate chunks

7. Cook for 40 minutes. Depending on your oven you may need more or less time. So make      sure to check around 35 minutes!

8. Drizzle remainder of white chocolate

Quote of the Week!

“What makes you different makes you beautiful.”

Everyone wants to have something that someone else has. Whether it be a bigger butt, bigger boobs, long hair or short hair. With today’s society everyone pretty much wants to look the same and trust me I am guilty of this as well. But what truly sets us apart and makes us unique, is how different we all are. So instead of trying to fit in and be like everyone else we see why not stay our true self and embrace the difference that we were given. Being different is what sets us a part form the rest and that is what true beauty is all about.

This week go out, be different and embrace it!

xo.

For this weeks post, it will be very short and too the point. We all have that music lover who’s either part of the family or in our group of friends!

I am all about paying very close attention to what my loved ones are passionate about or love at the moment. This then allows me to personalize all my gifts, and there is no better feeling than seeing that smile on their face once you give them their gift :)!

For this card it is very simple, what you will need:

Card board paper

Markers/ Gel Pens

Scissors

Remember this is art so it’s all about being creative and putting your own little twist on it :)!

Have fun and go be creative!

Quote of the Week!

“Don’t chase the money…even if you want to be a banker. Chase the passion. Chase the dream.”

As long as you follow your dreams and passion, if you love what you do and people see that the money will come. Someone who is always chasing money will never be satisfied or happy, because it will never be enough for them. They will keep wanting more and more and that’s not the way to live your life. Especially because money is something that comes and goes, my grandmother always told that. Money and materialistic things can be taken from you in seconds. That is why it is very important to do the things you love because your passion and dreams are things that people cannot take away from you. As long as you believe in yourself and your goals you are unstoppable.

Chase your dreams this week!
